AI Ready / SEO + AI Index Optimization

Quick start guide for installation, licensing, and generating llms.txt.

1) Installation
  1. Upload the plugin folder to /wp-content/plugins/ or install the ZIP via WordPress > Plugins > Add New.
  2. Activate the plugin from WordPress > Plugins.
  3. In the admin menu, open License to activate your purchase.

Note: Premium features and updates require online activation.

2) License Activation
  1. Go to License in the WordPress admin menu.
  2. Enter your purchase code and click Activate License.
  3. Upon success, premium features and auto updates are enabled.
  4. The plugin validates your activation online via the vendor server and periodically revalidates in the background.
3) Generate llms.txt
  1. Open LLMs.txt from the admin menu.
  2. Review the generated content in the editor area.
  3. Click Update to refresh content after changes.
  4. Use the preview to quickly copy or review the final output.
  5. The plugin creates a language-specific file (e.g., /en/llms.txt, /tr/llms.txt) and can also write static files under uploads.
4) Content Selection
  1. Go to LLMs.txt > Content Selection.
  2. Choose All Content or Custom Selection.
  3. Use Quick Selection to select/deselect by type.
  4. Click Save Selection and Update to regenerate llms.txt for each language.
5) Settings
  • Open LLMs.txt > Settings.
  • Fill in Site Information (URL, email, phone, address, owner, etc.).
  • Enable options: Include Sitemap, Include Site Information, Contact Information.
  • Adjust Cache Duration, Auto Update Frequency, and Custom HTTP Headers.
  • Use Import/Export to move settings between sites.
6) Multilingual

The plugin detects your site language and integrates with popular multilingual plugins (WPML, Polylang, TranslatePress, Weglot, etc.).

  1. Go to LLMs.txt > Language Management to view active languages.
  2. Use Edit to open a language in the main editor, View to open its llms.txt URL, and Refresh to regenerate content.
Troubleshooting
  • License not activating: Check purchase code and server connectivity. Ensure RSL_LICENSE_VERIFY_URL points to your license server.
  • Translations: The plugin uses WordPress i18n with .mo files. Place languages/really-simple-llms-LOCALE.mo files and clear caches.
  • Static files: Make sure wp-content/uploads/ is writable for generating /uploads/llms/ files.
